The club is dedicated to promoting the French water dog, the Barbet.
The Barbet, a dog of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

All barbets in the UK are microchipped and DNA profiled with records held by the club so all can be identified. It is an offence under the `Sale of Goods Act 1979` to advertise a dog as being of a certain breed when it is not and action will be taken. ***
